L.A.’s gaming glitterati will unite at the Uplay Lounge in the ultra-hip downtown SkySpace this week during E3 and live streaming all the action. (And we’re geeking out at the chance to be part of it.)
The lounge, put on by mega-game publisher Ubisoft, touts itself as “the ultimate fan experience” and allows gaming VIPs to get hands-on access to new games, Q and A’s with the development teams and exclusive deets on the year’s lineup.
Ubisoft, which boasts hundreds of titles, most notably Assassin’s Creed, the many Tom Clancy series, Far Cry and Just Dance, will live stream the lounge for fans to enjoy from around the world.
“There’s no bigger week for videogame news than E3 week,” says Tony Key, senior VP of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. “For us, it’s an opportunity to put something new on a big stage and get high awareness across the world in a matter of minutes.”
Bel Air Internet is providing their Temporary Internet service for the 3-day event. For more info on the Uplay Lounge and schedule, click here.
