All are members of the prestigious CNBC Disruptor 50 list for 2018, which singles out forward-thinking start-ups whose innovations are most changing the world.
This year, CNBC is taking their annual Disruptor50 list on tour, with a series of roadshow events that bring together Disruptor50 founders, along with leaders and investors in thriving start-ups.
First up was Los Angeles, and who better to provide Internet for the event than a company keen to shake up their own industry? Bel Air Internet’s Pop Up Internet kept crew communications fired up as the show, which included LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and a number of Disruptor50 CEO’s, was broadcast live.
The event, which took place at Hudson Loft, also included a live audience and engaged discussion about the opportunities and challenges facing today’s entrepreneurs, particularly in Los Angeles.
Taking on the corporate giant status quo is no easy feat (we should know!) but these companies prove that thinking outside the box can yield huge results.
