The NBA All-Star weekend is always a star-studded event in Los Angeles, merging athletes, musicians and celebrities for events across the city.
BAI Live was there for it all with the key assist – powering the most exciting, buzzed about events of the weekend with our exclusive Pop Up Internet, including interactive bashes for some of the biggest shoe brands and concert experiences to thousands.
We were thrilled to fuel Bleacher Report’s BRxLA event at the Santa Monica Pier, as it trended on Twitter and brought the all-star experience to the fans. The event, which brought out thousands of NBA fans, featured a dunk contest, a concert and major NBA star wattage with dozens of players making appearances.
One of the most talked about events over the weekend was the Adidas 747 Warehouse Street bash. Besides a celebrity basketball game led by Snoop and sneaker activation, the highlights were live performances by the biggest names in hip hop including surprise guest Kanye West. BAI Live’s Pop Up Internet powered the event’s live radio stream that listeners around the world tuned into.
Then there was the underground cool Jordan Brand pop up at Studio 23 with a live recording studio from Interscope records and the unveiling of Jordan’s newest sneaker releases. BAI Live swooped in to save the day with this event getting our temporary Internet up and running for them in record time after another provider couldn’t get them the speeds they needed.
With no technical fouls and 100% uptime all weekend, we’d say it was a shut out victory.
BAI Live, a division of Bel Air Internet, provides Pop Up Internet, Managed Wi-Fi and Streaming Services to events, concerts, festivals and conferences throughout Southern California and Las Vegas.
