2016 Oscars Red Carpet gets an Internet Hook-Up from BAI Live

Ever wonder how those glossy photos of A-list celebrities walking the Oscars red carpet get online so instantaneously? (Gone are the days where you had to wait a week for the People magazine Oscar fashion issue to come out so you could see what everyone was wearing).

With hundreds of photographers from publications around the world, as well as some major photo wiring services, all on the premises and vying to get their photos out, temporary high-speed Internet is key in ensuring that the coveted images can get uploaded tout de suite.

We were honored to be part of the Oscars red carpet again this year, even as one of the “little people” behind the scenes, making sure the Internet was running smoothly so that the biggest entertainment event of the year could be reported on to the rest of the world.

And, of course, so we could all begin armchair Fashion Policing from our living rooms.

BAI Live, a division of Bel Air Internet, provides Pop Up Internet, Managed Wi-Fi and Streaming Services to events, concerts, festivals and conferences throughout Southern California and Las Vegas.
